[edit] Re Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/One gene, one polypeptide hypothesis
Hello. I got the strong impression from your comments there that I did something wrong -- what exactly was it? I'd like to know so I can avoid it in the future -- I imagine it probably involves tags and warnings -- thanks!! -- ArglebargleIV 15:38, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hi Argle. As I can see, you did nothing wrong. I was talking about Indon issuing quick warnings to the author removing your tags. Keep up the great work! ~Iceshark7 15:42, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thank you!
Wow, I appreciate the star. Thanks! I'm surprised to see this... because it's my first award. Wow, you're right... I put so much humor in it, and I'm going to take this test too. Again, thanks for your support. Artisol2345 21:53, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Template
hey! I would rather have the other template - we are trying to make it easy for the media to find stuff - we don't want any confusion but, if you believe it is inappropriate, feel free to leave it :) (btw, thanks for telling me :) ) Talk to symode09's or How's my driving? 14:15, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
I've replied to your talk page. ~Iceshark7
[edit] Frosty
Hello, I noticed that you added two new sizes to the article for the Frosty, a Wendy's product. I would like to request that you provide a reliable source for the new sizes, because a visit to the Wendy's website, I did not see any mention of these sizes. Also, as an employee of a Wendy's, I have never heard of such sizes, and they are not on the menu at the store. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know. Thanks again, --Nenyedi TalkDeeds@ 00:22, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Grrr thanks a bunch

[edit] Redirect of Radioblogclub
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Radioblogclub, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Radioblogclub is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Radioblogclub, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Page you nominated for MfD
I deleted that page. I think that it might be more productive, for pages like that, if you contact the user privately before you bring wide attention to the page by nominating it for deletion. The page had not been edited since 2005, so there was no immediate threat, and I would think you had a good chance of convincing the owner to blank or delete it just by talk page discussion. I have had good success in the past with personal discussion, and users may feel offended when others nominate their pages for deletion or delete them. I have removed the MfD listing in hopes that private discussion can resolve any remaining issues. — Carl (CBM · talk) 12:32, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Userpage
Hello! I was looking at your userpage, but I couldn't read some of the words on it because your colors are so...close on the color wheel. There is some lack of contrast, which makes the page a little difficult to read. Can you fix this? Thanks! :) --Isis4563 12:55, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Can you at least respond? I'm not talking about the whole page...just the top bar (on this page, too) and the bottom section. I hope I didn't upset you. :( --Isis4563 00:27, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- Replied to your talk page, and sorry for being late. ~Iceshark7 18:18, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Amercan films
You'll be doing this on every article on American films, what placing five tags at the top?. Now why did you assume every page would be like 1909? Please note it is only the very earliest films I haven't got around to working on yet. PLease see pages like American films of 1933 and American films of 1934 things will develop. I am trying to take on an enormous task and have formatted most of the lists but it will take time thanks. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 12:03, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Replied to your talkpage. ~Iceshark7 12:48, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Note I am actually the creator of all the American film and world film pages and I mean filling in the encyclopedic content not tagging them!!!! Eventually each page will be complete and maybe a few references in them too. I feel the incomplete list tag is enough for now it is and even for me a huge task of documenting the history of film but one that will be a great asset to film on wikipedia. I'm going to begin formatting 1909 in a minute which was tagged quite appropraitely I think all the best ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 12:54, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Any details you can add to any of the tables when you have time or are bored!! would be warmly appreciated , regards ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 12:57, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

{{talkheader}} has more information than the warning template, which acts as an extra reminder - • The Giant Puffin • 17:18, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Master Editors
On the MfD for the Master Editor template, you suggested removing the category. Well, I've nominated it, and all the others, for deletion. You can join the debate here. Lurker (said · done) 17:52, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hey, thanks for restoring that award; it was a kind thought. But truthfully, I didn't realize what it was when I moved it to my barnstar page (I never investigated), and I do feel uncomfortable displaying an award that I'm not "qualified" for, so I went ahead and removed it. I like TBSDY's funny "clam down" award that I put in its place :-) Regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:15, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:LEAF Oy Logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:LEAF Oy Logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 09:00, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Templates for deletion - Template:RuneScape_Wikia_Link
Since you contributed by adding a category to Template:RuneScape Wikia Link, I would like for you to comment on its deletion nomination. Thanks, I appreciate it. Tarikochi 15:50, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Andrew Gower.jpg
Afternoon, Iceshark. Regarding Andrew's photo, it seems to me the copyright tags kind of imply it is self-made. Are you sure about the no source tag? CaptainVindaloo t c e 17:17, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Student Travel Schools
I have nominated Student Travel Schools, an article you created, for deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Student Travel Schools. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. [edit] Incomplete lists (American film)
May I direct your attention to this template: {{inc-video}}? If you use this, the article will automatically be added to Cat:Incomplete film, television, or video lists, rather than Cat:Incomplete lists which currently hosts more than 8,000 articles. Plus you won't have to manually add the film/tv/video list category. Thanks for helping out! Her Pegship (tis herself) 22:11, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
