Ian Hardman is a professional rugby league player, currently playing for Widnes Vikings. A native of Widnes, Ian was signed by St Helens from West Bank ARL. He was also a try scorer in the England U17s win over the Australian Institute of sport side in December 2003. He made is debut for Saints against the Castleford Tigers on the 15th August 2003 and made 46 appearances for Saints in total, scoring 15 tries, 11 goals and 8 drop goals. During the 2007 season, 1st team chances at Saints were limited so Ian was loaned to Hull KR. He was instrumental in keeping them in Super League in their first season, making 18 consecutive appearances. He has since returned to Saints, only to be signed by Widnes on a season long loan.
