"I Just Wanna Know" is the debut R&B single by British singer-songwriter Taio Cruz and the first from his debut album Departure, which would be released a year and a half after this single. The single was released on November 6, 2006 and charted inside the UK singles chart at #29. Despite having a lower peak than second single "Moving On", "I Just Wanna Know" managed six weeks inside the UK top 75 compared to the four weeks "Moving On" charted for.
This single is the only Taio Cruz single to be released on two CD single formats and featured non-album b-side "Backseat Love" featuring U.S. rapper Erick Sermon.
