[edit] Outstanding issues for GA
Ok you're almost there only the issues below remain. You've done a great job so far and the article has improved as a result. I'm really looking forward to being able to pass this :) Acer (talk) 23:49, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Some of the refs are missing page numbers
The citation needed tag should be dealt with
-
- - added source info. its a quote from the novel itself... i do not know the page number and its hundreds of pages... if anyone knows? --Michaeltufaro (talk) 05:36, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
The question that I posted above needs to be answered, where does the quote begin?
-
- - added opening quotation mark, sorry it took so long, sloppiness on my part. fixed now.--Michaeltufaro (talk) 05:40, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Mike, can you double-check that? It doesn't look right, as there's a "[who]" that looks as though that is part of the quotation too. I moved the quotation mark accordingly, but wasn't sure if I was right, and this needs to be accurate. --jbmurray (talk|contribs) 06:32, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- -Jon, to be honest i remember quoting the sentence as it appeared in the article, but i might have made a mistake where the quotation mark began... What i remember is that there was another part of the sentence that was somewhat less relevant and the [who] explained who it was talking about... without needing the other bit. But the book is back at the UBC library... I do remember that though...--Michaeltufaro (talk) 18:55, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, this does need to be checked (hence another trip to the library). We run the risk of one of two problems, both of which we want to avoid: 1) plagiarism, if we present Hoyt Williams's words as our own; 2) misrepresentation, if we present our words as Hoyt Williams's. Fortunately, it'll only take two minutes once you're in the library. --jbmurray (talk|contribs) 19:12, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

- Address concerns regarding synopsis raised by your professor. (Lets try the approach he recommended, place your draft in the article and we'll work from there)
Kn310376 and I have discussed it and he has already done a proper synopsis but has not yet placed it. Please post it up! --Michaeltufaro (talk) 05:42, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Michaeltufaro, if you add something, then we can make a start, eh? --jbmurray (talk|contribs) 06:32, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- Wow, this was so close! I had decided to fail it yesterday seince I thought you werent coming back, but luckily I arrived home late at night and went straight to bed. Its great to see you havent given up, the article only needs a small little push for GA Acer (talk) 23:19, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
