Hurst Green is a village and civil parish in the Rother District of East Sussex, England. The village is located on the A21 road, thirteen miles (20 km) north of Hastings[2].
There are two churches in the village: the brick-built parish church, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, and the Roman Catholic church of Our Lady Help of Christians. The local primary school is Hurst Green CE Primary School [3]
The settlement of Silver Hill is also located within the Parish.

The Hurst Green and Ellerhoop Twinning Association fosters stronger links between Hurst Green and the village of Ellerhoop in Schleswig Holstein, Germany[4].
The Hurst Green Short Mat Bowls club gives villagers, both young and more mature to play short-mat bowls for fun, and competitively.
