Hurffville School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hurffville Elementary School is one of the oldest schools in the Washington Township Public School District in Washington Township, in Gloucester County, New Jersey. Built in 1957, Hurffville was designed as an open air environment school, meaning all of the classrooms are connected by sidewalks instead of hallways. In 1988, the school had hallways installed.
The school has been awarded with New Jersey's "Governor's School of Excellence" award in 2005.[1]
Hurffville is located in the Hurffville district of Washington Township. It borders the development of Wedgewood Farms and is on Hurffville-Grenloch Road and Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, near Chestnut Ridge Middle School.
