[edit] Fighting Vandals
Hello, Hugh16! In your recent report to the AIV, you said that you were not sure how to warn or contact the vandals. I am very glad you chose to join the fight against vandals here on Wikipedia. Even though your report was not quite the proper thing to do without warning the person first, it will likely be reviewed and any necessary action will be taken (however I doubt that this will result in a block). This page describes what to do when you spot vandalism. When you gain some basic experience in vandalism-fighting, you might want to try out some of the anti-vandalism tools available for free use (such as Twinkle).
