"How Do U Want It" is a song of 2Pac featuring K-Ci and JoJo and was the third single from his album All Eyez on Me and just as "California Love" it was a big success, reaching #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and giving him his only American chart-topper. It was on the B-side of the single "California Love/How Do You Want It"
It samples Quincy Jones's "Body Heat" from his album Body Heat, 1974.
The song includes a diss of noted gangsta rap critic C. Delores Tucker.

[edit] The Music Video
There were three videos filmed for this song two in the same set for the single in April 1996 directed by Ron Hightower and produced by Tracy D. Robinson. The main thing they differentiate on is the MPAA rating (one is certified adult material). The video portrays a wild sex party with jacuzzi, mechanical bull riding, cage dancing and pole stripping. All actors and actresses are dressed in renaissance-age costumes, though all clothes are removed for the nude clip. The limousine segment seen in the clean version is the same except no nudity. The third one is the concert version, basically just them performing on stage((not the House Of Blues live performance)). There's cameo appearances by K-Ci & Jojo both in the concert and studio segments. The X-rated video also features numerous porn stars like Nina Hartley, Heather Hunter, and Angel Kelly and many more. [edit] Trivia
- Heather Hunter refers to the bull ride with 2Pac photo shoot in her cameo rapping in Esham's song with Kool Keith, "All Night Everyday".
- Originally Tupac sang the vocals, which was later changed to K-Ci & Jojo with Tupac while the final version doesn't feature him on the chorus.[1]
- Nina Hartley has stated in her own fan forum about her one night partying with Tupac Shakur, which supposedly occurred during the private party held after completing the music video for "How Do U Want It". Nina replied 'Tupac had what it took to be a porn stud, no problem!'[2]
