I recommend you use the {{non-free use rationale}} template, filled out as completely as you can, to avoid further problems with the friendly but persistent NFI police. ☺ (Take a look at Image:TaliaWinters.jpg‎ and Image:Trixie and Dean Koontz.jpg for two images I've recently done this for.) You still need to make a good case per the policies listed above, but this template helps you organize the required information. Nooooo No No. You need to look again at the events to refresh what came first. Do not reinvent history. Heres what I said at the time in 2006. If you look at Babas life and then place Townsend in perspective, where is he. Does he rate up their with so much stuff thats been left out. Think about it, but not with your ego. Think of all the important stuff not here and then look at the Townsend space. You said It should neither dissapear as completely irrelevant nor include unencyclopedic footnotes. So when there was disagreement re editing then came the blocks and undos from you on a topic you appeared to be biased about. Whats this you say? Evidence for your bias being a very out of kilter bias is the content of the Meher Baba page now. After good editing and input from people who are balanced the final content now is far removed from your view and is indeed evolved from my view. In the scheme of things Townsend dosnt rate. He would get a mention in a book, but dosnt rate in one page compared to all Babas life. I said that at the time. I quote from Nov 2006 Townsend is a grain of sand on the Baba beach. People who want Townsend in this page may feel odd about Baba and need some quasi famous figure to say hey look its not odd knowing Baba is God, because look Townsends in with us. People in the know got on board and fixed up Meher Babas page in Wikipedia after my victory over unbalanced content to get Townsend whittled down. I coundnt remove him as you and others blocked that. Can you find Townsend in there now? No. Its out on its ear as I always said it should be. Baba people have come in and made the Meher Baba page very close to Babas life. Its succinct, clear, has depth and breadth and its truthful to Baba's life. Another point: What do you expect people to do when faced with an obdurate character like you who has superimposed some overrated and ultimately subjective POV wacky Townsend biased fantasy on Baba and continually clicks undo to edits like mine which are like the ones that are on the good Baba page now? How do we deal with you when you are like this Hoverfish? Hmmm. How I or others circumvented you in the name of truth is immaterial. It needed to be done. It was done. It bore fruit. Inshaallah. You caused these tactics to be used by being a failed petty gatekeeper tyrant. You became Hoverfart. If you want a good working Wiki dont be so stubborn and and if you dont know your topic then be more humble or find a topic you like. Sturgeons perhaps. Be a good Hoverfish. But this name is it a clue to your dark side? Do you suck up, take, and dont give. If you give then knowledge will flow. Wiki is about input. If you can take this on the chin. Scope, update and voting Whats new at Krishna's project Wikipedia:WikiProject Krishnaism - whats new and happening! Discussion on the scope of the project: Krishna-worship. First DYK of he project Radha Ramana 22nd May 2008 Pages under construction Radha Krishna, Bala Krishna, Krishnaism. Consensus is now reached on the proposal of merger of the new article Krishna Vasudeva into a separate section of Krishna here: Please note the results of the vote on the proposal of merging new article on early worship of Krishna Vasudeva to the main article dedicated to the Hindu deity Krishna. Krishna Vasudeva may have been worshiped in 4 century BC as a monotheistic deity. This article is to be incorporated in a separate section of Krishna article. Also, if you are ready to help with editing and assessment of the scope, please see the project page, and add your name to the list of participants. More on the topic. How will it be defined. While the name of the project is WikiProject Krishnaism in common language many seems to prefer a wider term "Vaishnavism", which however appeared to relate to Vishnu. Krishnaism is more of an academic term. On the other hand even one of the first Indologists to use the term, Albrecht Weber was to consider that that the essence of Krishnaism, bhakti or the principle of "God is love", was pre-Christian. There were and are many traditions where Krishna is worshiped and His names revered. There was a discussion (and a heated one) on the scope of the project and the term here. Currently the scope is quite wide and aims at improving articles related to Radha-Krishna and associated traditions where they are worshiped: Manipuri Vaishnavas, Bhagavata, Gaudiya Vaishnava, Nimbarka sampradaya, Swaminarayana sampradaya, Vallabha sampradaya; If you see a need to widen or restrict the scope please voice your opinion - it is wanted! Just leave a few words here.
