Hong Chengchou or Hung Cheng-chou (Chinese: 洪承疇; Pinyin: Hóng Chéngchóu; born 1593) was a Military commander at the end of the Ming Dynasty.

He was the Ming commander at the Battle of Songjin. In 1641, he was captured in the battle at Songshan. After surrendering to the Manchu side, he became instrumental in helping to model the Qing bureaucracy in imitation of Ming institutional structures.
