Alacrity was also involved wit the rescue of the MV Atlantic conveyor in addition to several othe corvert operations,the Cabo estadios was picked up during one on the operations and subsequently engaged whilst trying to island hop,she exploded after 40 4.5 inshells in a huge fire ball,i would be suprised if there was survivors.the St Luis torpedoed her after she had left the sound,however this was never known until several years later. The crew meet up the last being in May 2007 in Devonport. We where extremely proud of our exploits and bear no malice to our Argentine counterparts, the general consensus is unlike the words of margaret Becket that the Bristish Nation regrets the loss off life ,in my opinion we dont Brendan Coulton
