Historical Studies in the Natural Sciences

Historical Studies in the Natural Sciences is a science journal published by University of California Press, in Berkeley, California on behalf of the Office for History of Science and Technology, University of California, Berkeley. First published in 1970 as the biannual Historical Studies in the Physical and Biological Sciences, the journal changed its name and frequency at the start of the 2008 volume. Regarded as a leading journal in the historiography of science and technology, HSNS is concerned with the history of science as it has developed since the 18th century. The ISSN is 1939-1811.
