Hideto Tanihara (born 16 November 1978) is a Japanese golfer.
Tanihara was born in Onomichi, Hiroshima, Japan. He has won seven tournaments on the Japan Golf Tour and featured in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Rankings. He represented Japan at the 2007 OMEGA Mission Hills World Cup with Tetsuji Hiratsuka.
