"Hezbollah" means "party of God" in Arabic. It is a popular name for Islamist organizations:
- Hezbollah of Lebanon, a Shi'a political party and militia which played a major role in getting Israel out of Lebanon, officially listed as a terrorist organization by Israel, U.S., UK, the Netherlands, Australia and Canada
- Hezbollah of Turkey, unrelated to the above, is a Kurdish Islamic Sunni group in Turkey
- Iraqi Hezbollah, unrelated to the above, is a Shi'a political party part of the United Iraqi Alliance with a previous history of resistance to Saddam Hussein from bases in southern Iraq's marshlands
- Hezbollah Movement in Iraq is an unrelated political party which is also a component of the United Iraqi Alliance
- Kurdish Revolutionary Hezbollah is an Iraqi Kurdish Islamist group founded in 1983 and disbanded in 2002.
- Hezbollah of Iran is a movement of mosque-based groups founded to enforce the authority of the Islamic revolution in Iran
- Ansar-e-Hezbollah is an offshoot of Hezbollah in Iran that suppresses dissident gatherings
- Hizbullah - A group in Mauritius
- Hizballah Al-Hijaz is a Shi'a organization operating in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait and Bahrain
- Hizbullah - A revolutionary group in Indonesia during its struggle for independence.
