Henry T. Hazard

Henry Thomas Hazard (July 30, 1844 – August 7, 1921) was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He graduated with the class of 1868 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a doctor of law degree.
He served as City Attorney for the City of Los Angeles for several years before being elected Mayor of Los Angeles in 1888. His picture hangs in the second floor corridor of the City Hall.
He married Carrie Geller, but they had no children.
He died in Los Angeles, aged 77. He is buried in the Hazard family plot at Evergreen Cemetery.
