VIVAHATE.com (or VIVAHATE) is a free, internet weblog. VIVAHATE's layout and functionality borrow much from IAM, however the similarities are merely skin deep, as they share no code. VIVAHATE’s users tend to be involved in independent music and culture. The site was also created as an alternative to sites likes thefacebook and myspace. VIVAHATE averages around 750,000 hits per month.
[edit] HISTORY
VIVAHATE was created by Kyle Kestell in November of 2002. The site was originally designed as a way for Kestell to stay in touch with his friends from high school. Through word of mouth however, VIVAHATE began to gain momentum. For a period of time the site was renamed to Someone Beside You, the change brought on by the desire to attract more users by having a more accessible domain name. Due to much outcry in the community however, the name change was reversed a month later, with the VIVAHATE.COM domain officially purchased shortly after. As of August 2005, there are just over three-hundred user accounts registered with the site.
