Ah Lok is interested in fencing and joins it the day school starts. He is also aiming at one goal - to beat Dai Hak, an undefeatable champion in fencing who has won all of his matches. With all the fencing thing going around, he still has time for love. Soon, Ah Look falls for Lam-Lam and tries to give her a neklace to show her his feelings, but poor Lok is rejected, but it doesn't end there as Lam-Lam starts to accept him. Unfortunately, Ah Lok dies in a car accident before he has the chance to give the necklace to her.

Don/Chu Mon Tong (Eddie Lee) - The rich and spoiled brat that listens to no one but himself. Everything he does is tied into money. He is the kind of person that thinks that money can solve anything, but he is kind-hearted and is a very sweet guy. At first, Don has some love at first sight with Lam-Lam, but later in the story, he and Ah Ching end up together and he finds a way to do things without using money. He has a friend named Ah Lung, but he is more of a sidekick that always follows him around.

Kwan Yu Lung (Sam Chan) - The little sidekick that follows Don around. He is the type of person that talks his way out of things. He feeds off his quick brain and tricks most of the time. He is the sweet and usual playboy that is charming, but is easy to get angry at. At first, he doesn't notice anyone, but with a coincidence, he and the nerdy Man-Man start a relationship, even though he was confused with his feelings at first.

Cheng Ka-Lam (Race Wong) - The strongheaded and straightforward girl that goes for what she wants. She does everything that her heart believes and follows the rules. Lam-Lam innocently believes that a four-leaf clover a boy had given her when she was small would bring her luck and happiness. The four-clover leaf allows her to find the guy she has been trying to find and start a relationship with him. At first, Lam-Lam and Ah Yat have problems with each other due to Ah Yat's laziness and Lam-Lam's bossy personalities, but soon they develop strong feelings for each other. But unfortnately, two other guys also have feelings for her.

In the end, the two end up together.

Lam Sut Man (Elaine Yiu) - The typical shy and nerdy girl, with a kind heart. She spends her time reading fairytales and love stories and thinks innocently of the world around her. Man-Man, by luck, catches the eye of a cute playboy guy, Ah Lung. At first, she is mad at him for not making up his mind about his feelings, but after a little apologizing, they make up and get together.

Wong Miu Yee (Renee Dai) - The food-loving girl that thinks about nothing but food, except for love. Even when she is dreaming, she is still thinking about food. And with luck, she found herself the perfect boyfriend, Fei Cheung, who also loves to eat.

Tsui Gam Mui (Kelly Fu) - The "boy-catcher". Wherever she goes, wherever the boys follow. She likes to look pretty and is a way-girly-girl. She wasn't interested in anyone at all until the end, where she hooks up with the unbeatable fencing champion, Dai Hak. She has a nickname called 13 Mui, meaning she has been in love thirteen times before the series.

Mr. Sword (Edmond Leung) - He is the Fencing Club's teacher, who has a crush on Ms. Cheng, Lam-Lam's aunt. He tries his best to make the boys, Ah Yat, Ah Lok, Don and Ah Lung, a team, which he succeeds after all his efforts. Ms. Cheng didn't seem to be interested in him until their trip to Saipan, where the guys were training for their fencing tournament. At the end of the story, Mr. Sword is married to Ms. Cheng.

Ms. Jeng (Eileen Yeow) - The usual teacher who wants the work done and done correctly, or at least try her hardest. She is actually a very nice teacher, which catches the attention of two male teachers - Mr. Sword and Mr. Wong. But in the end, she chooses Mr. Sword over Mr. Wong.
