Headplate is a Swedish band from the city of Gothenburg. The band was formed back in 1993, by drummer Niklas Österlund and guitarist Daniel Granstedt. The band is very appreciated by their fans for always being generous with free music. Almost all of their songs are free to download at their own website.
In 1999 the band signed with Gain Productions / Gain Recordings a small record company, also from Gothenburg, Sweden. The band has released three albums since then: "Bullsized" (2000), "Delicate" (2002) and "Pieces" (2003).
