Hatchet House is the new sub-label of Psychopathic Records, formed in 2007. It currently has three artists signed to it, one being DJ Clay who has done previous work with the Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, and others, the second one being Motown Rage, who has been on tour with the Insane Clown Posse in the past, and the third & most recent one being The R.O.C., who has a side project with Blaze Ya Dead Homie called "Zodiac M-Print". Violent J of Insane Clown Posse has stated one of the purposes of the label is to make music and sign artists other than just people like themselves, and is said to possibly contain other types of music, compared to the main label. How ever the main purpose of Hatchet House is to test how the Juggalos (Psychopathic record's fanbase) like new sounds and artists, and if they do, then these artist may be signed to Psychopathic Records.
As of October 1st 2007, Tali Demon was removed from the Hatchet House label. In an interview done with V-Sinizter, Tali talked about the reasons why she decided to leave Hatchet House, and the problems she had with the management about their ideas for her album. She stated that there is no beef between her and Hatchet House/Psychopathic and that she is still amongst the juggalo family.
On January 18, 2008, it was announced during the Weekly Freekly Weekly that The R.O.C. is officially signed to Hatchet House. His new album Digital Voodoo is now in production. [1] Also announced on the WFW was DJ Clay's newest series of mixtapes "featuring the entire Psychopathic Records family, in ways you've never heard the before ... redos, remixes, remakes, and collaborations, all unheard of." All will be featured on the series of Let 'Em Bleed Mixxtapes. [2] The first volume will be released on February 19, 2008. Already announced is Shaggy 2 Dope performing Twiztid's "Fall Apart", 2 brand new Violent J solos, 2 new songs by Jamie Madrox, and an Esham and Boondox collaboration. DJ Clay plans on dropping at least 3 mixtapes per year. Motown Rage news was also passed on stating that they have almost finished up their debut album for Hatchet House. Mentioned in the linear notes of "The Opaque Brotherhood" the release date of "Let 'Em Bleed, The Mixxtape Vol.2" is set to be "July 8th, 2008".
Also announced in the WFW was that April of 2008 will see the release of Tunnel Runners: Masters of the Wicked Shit. The CD is a compilation of 14 underground artists and/or groups not signed to Hatchet House such as King Gordy, Class, Grave Plott (Which consists of Killa C and Liquid Assassin), Intrinzik, Lo Key, Playaz Lounge Crew (PLC), Mars, Q Strange, and many more.
