[edit] Track details

Double Trouble

Double Trouble was composed by John Williams during the production of the film as he felt to be a warm welcome back to Hogwarts. The song was sung by the London Oratory School Schola. The lyrics to this song are taken directly from Shakespeare's Macbeth.

Forward to Time Past

The track is heard when Hermione and Harry use the time turner and go back to time. During the whole track, clock ticking as a bomb is heard indicating that time is running out. The track is heard until the point when Harry and Hermione see Buckbeak alive; although the ticking is heard, until they come back to normal time. The name is possibly a play on the title Back to the Future, only reversed.

The Dementors Converge

The music is heard when Harry is trying to save Sirius Black from the Dementors but fails, and then the Dementors hover around Harry. Harry drops to his knees in weakness and the music is heard in a low tune. Then the music again gets high as Harry sees a Patronus, and when the charm occurs high vocals are heard. The piece ends in a low tune as the charm saves both Harry and Sirius.
