This is a low-resolution (resized to 50% of original) of an image of Hanuman Garhi, Nainital lake taken by N. Arora (© Shunya) and downloaded by me (Sanjay Tiwari 01:32, 7 October 2006 (UTC)) from the website [1] for fair use in the Wikipedia article on Nainital.

Although this image, Hanumangarhi3.jpg, may be subject to copyright, I (Sanjay Tiwari 01:32, 7 October 2006 (UTC)) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. the image will be used only in the Wikipedia article Nainital to illustrate the religious sites in Nainital
2. Images of Hanuman Garhi (or any other religous site in Nainital) are not available in the public domain.
3. This image is being used purely for an educational purpose.
4. Since this is a low-resolution image (50% of original and cropped), it will not adversely affect the copyright owner's ability to market the original image.
