Hans Lewy

Hans Lewy (October 20, 1904 – August 23, 1988) was an American mathematician, known for his work on partial differential equations.
He was born in Breslau, Germany (now Wrocław, Poland). He was awarded a Wolf Prize in Mathematics in 1986.
