[edit] Coaches

Was Chris Hurley really the coach from 1968-1971? This "fact" was added by an anonymous poster on August 23, 2006. I can find no other references to Chris Hurley anywhere.

I did find one reference that suggest Al Dorrow was the coach for at least part of the time: http://argonauts.ca/Argos/History/ArgoHeroes/2004/07/27/559260.html. From the link: "1972 brought more changes to the Tiger-Cats and to Gabler’s football career. Jerry Williams replaced Al Dorrow as the head coach and brought in a young quarterback from the University of Toledo named Chuck Ealey."

This has been fixed as of December 27, 2006. Joe Restic and Al Dorrow are now listed as the coaches during that period. Good to see that fixed up! Jhayman 20:13, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Possible copyright violation

The Early Years section of this article is an almost complete word-for-word copy of the first five paragraphs of the team history printed on the Tiger-Cats official site. It needs to be heavily edited or deleted. (I'd do it myself, but football history isn't an area I have a lot of knowledge in). - Eron Talk 14:32, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Well, it's been a week and it hasn't been edited so I think it has to be deleted. - Eron Talk 14:43, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Incorrect

The article is incorrect to state that only the Ti-Cats and Montreal Canadians have won league championships in professional sports every decade of the 20th century. Rangers F.C of the Scottish Premier League and a number of other association football teams have managed this feat. Mabye the article should be changed to say the only Canadian teams to acheive this. Lord Cornwallis (talk) 14:55, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Have now changed the article accordingly. Lord Cornwallis (talk) 13:27, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
