If you try to debug it, at least two possible reasons: Invalid table XHTML, my browser hates this. Shouldn't happen because "tidy" fixes it on the fly, but "tidy" has its own bugs, maybe it misses something. Or (more likely) some floating issue: If long lines (e.g. section titles in a ToC) overwrite a floating nav box (the edit link here is a mini variant of this), then the nav box links don't work anymore with my browser. Certainly buggy, but normally things are arranged in a way that they don't overwrite floating boxes. If you have something floating right (left is less critical) taking say width="20%", then the stuff floating around it must be either able to float (normal paragraphs etc.), or if it can't really float (e.g. a table) limited to 80%. If it's "rigid" and taking more than 80% it overwrites the 20% disabling all links in the overwritten area. Modern browsers are a bit more tolerant with this, but "floating takes place within whatever is considered as 100% when it starts" is still the general idea. -- Omniplex 01:47, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
