[edit] Speedy deletion of Hopes die last
A tag has been placed on Hopes die last requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. ninety:one 21:24, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- you have to post some links to newsmedia (newspapers etc.) talking about you, basically. then you count as 'notable' and have more of a chance. ninety:one 18:02, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] blocking 75.137.147.210
a block on a user can only be done if they repeatedly vandalize pages. see WP:BLOCK. you can semi-protect or protect a page, but that is indiscriminate. ninety:one 19:37, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ice Nine Kills
I don't see anything added that satisfies a criteria of WP:MUSIC. I count perhaps one reliable source out of the bunch. Erechtheus (talk) 18:35, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, good for you for trying, and looking up sources, but not every article at AfC is one that would pass notability standards (especially about bands, where we get articles all the time). Would you like to have the community decide at AfD? Daniel Case (talk) 22:25, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 18:33, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
