From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Goulburn Valley Grammar School is an independent, co-educational school in Victoria situated on a 17 hectare rural site 6km north of the centre of Shepparton, approximately 190km north of Melbourne. Students from across Victoria attend, with students from Benalla, Seymour, Cobram, Numurkah and Echuca all undertaking the daily bus trip. The schools mascot is the pelican, and the motto is Semper Ulterius, which can be translated to always further, suggesting there is always something more to know or experience. The school was founded in 1982 by Mr. Vic Ryall.
In 1998 Ian Rule was appointed the fourth Principal and is the current principal. The previous principal was David Prest. A new principle is set to commence during mid 2008.
