Gomastapur (Bengali: গোমস্তাপুর) is an Upazila of Nawabganj District in the Division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

Gomastapur is located at . It has 34126 units of house hold and total area 318.13 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census[1], Gomastapur has a population of 191972. Males constitute are 50.66% of the population, and females 49.34%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 96032. Gomastapur has an average literacy rate of 21.9% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [2]
