Glen Miller is the head men's basketball coach at the University of Pennsylvania. He took over the position vacated by Fran Dunphy in 2006.

Before arriving at Penn, Miller was the head coach at Brown University. Previously Miller spent six seasons as head coach of Division III Connecticut College, reaching the D-III Final Four in 1999, where the team was undefeated until the national semifinal. He started his career alongside Hall of Fame coach Jim Calhoun at Connecticut, where he served seven years as an assistant.

[edit] Penn Coaching Record

Miller won the program's 25th Ivy League championship in his first season with the Quakers, becoming the third Penn coach to win a title in his rookie campaign. Led by Ivy League Player of the Year Ibrahim Jaaber, Penn finished the 2006-07 season with a 22-9 record (13-1 Ivy League) and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season. Third-seeded Texas A&M Aggies defeated the Quakers in the first round.

However in 2007-08 the Quakers have fallen off. As of January 22, the Quakers are 5-11 having lost most recently to St. Joesph's 82-42. This brings Miller's coaching record at Penn to 27-20.

[edit] Personal

Miller graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1986 with a BA in sociology.
