"Give It to You" is Jordan Knight's solo debut single from his self-titled album, Jordan Knight. It is his most well-known single to date as a solo artist and got massive airplay, thanks to the teen-pop era.
The song starts off with carnival music and then changes to teen-dance pop after.
[edit] Success
The single became Knight's first and only top ten in the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #10. It also hit #35 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play. It reached Platinum status soon afterwards.

[edit] Music Video
Directed by Darren Grant, the video starts off in an amusement park with Knight and his friends getting off by a Jeep CJ-7. His friends start off with a ballroom dance and then move into hip-hop choreography.
The video is based on the movie Grease, with the cool guy at first overlooking the "nerdy" girl. But when she shows up in a tight leather outfit (like Sandy does at the end of Grease), he finally notices her and they dance.
The video was nominated for "Best Dance Video" at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards, but was given to "Livin' La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin.
The video was listed as the #1 worst video on the last episode of Back In... '99.
