Template talk:GetBackers

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page is within the scope of WikiProject Anime and manga, which aims to improve and expand anime and manga related articles on Wikipedia. If you would like to participate, you can edit this article or visit the project page.
Template This is a template and is not rated on the assessment scale.

I am starting this Talk page to document and discuss. The documentation is almost trivial but discussion is more important as there are several possibilities for grouping and displaying the topics, particular the characters, in the navbox.

[edit] Discussion

The navbox can be divided into three bands. The original version of the template only included the top band.

Top band Major articles (Main article, Cast , Story arcs, Episode guide)
Middle Band Characters (Character descriptions)
Bottom Band Other Topics (Non-character articles)

The middle band is probably the most important but also the most problematic. Obviously is must include the GB duo themselves. Beyond that which are characters should be included and how they should be groups is less certain.

[edit] Manga-only/Fuuga/Other characters

Changed the "Manga only Characters" to "Other Characters" Used Italics for manga only characters. Used an asterisk (*) to mark members of Fuuga as they occur across three groupings.

"Manga Only" is an effective description for the current "Other Characters" but not other characters such as Madoka or Clayman should they need to be included. There is also a problem in fitting in Miroku Seven.
