"Get like Me" is the second single from David Banner's sixth album, The Greatest Story Ever Told. The song features Chris Brown and samples several lines from Yung Joc's "It's Goin' Down". A remix was made feature Chris Brown & Jim Jones which can be found on YouTube or LimeWire. [2] The song was leaked in September 2007, but that was the remix. The official single version was never heard by the public before the song was officially released.
[edit] Music Video
The video was shot at Los Angeles and directed by Ulysses Terrero. "It's a lot of ladies," Chris Brown told MTV News, while sitting on his motorbike. "The whole thing has been fun, even just chilling with everybody."
Chris Brown guest-stars in the video, as does Yung Joc.
Chris' chat with MTV News was then interrupted by Banner: The two began bantering in fake British accents, then brought it back to their native American-speak. "Get l;ike Me" is all about stuntin', and in the video you'll see plenty of performance and glamour shots of women and Banner's own vehicles.[3]
The music video was released May 13, 2008 on 106 & Park, but was leaked a few days earlier.[4]
Barry Bonds also appears in the video.[5]
