A geometry template is a piece of clear plastic with cut-out shapes for use in mathematics and other subjects in primary school through secondary school. It functions as a stencil, protractor, ruler, and straightedge.
A mathomat (or math-o-mat) is a clear plastic geometry template with cut-out shapes for use in mathematics and other subjects. It also has various measurements on its sides to be used like a ruler.
It was invented and initially produced by Craig Young in the city of Ringwood, Victoria, before he sold off the company.
Mathomats are used extensively in primary and high schools in Australia and throughout the world.
