Generation Blue PAC is an organization of young professionals who hold quarterly cocktail receptions where we meet and raise funds for Democratic candidates in key Senate and House races that determine control of Congress. Campaigns sponsored by Generation Blue are chosen by the Generation Blue membership. Generation Blue members also participate in conference calls with the campaigns, give policy advice, and receive briefings.
In 2006, Generation Blue’s predecessor organization held coordinated events with Senators Claire McCaskill of Missouri, Sherrod Brown of Ohio, and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota. Its efforts raised well over $30,000 helping all three challengers win their races and take back the Senate.
“The folks behind Generation Blue worked very hard to help me in 2006 and I really appreciated their contribution to the success of my campaign.” – Senator Claire McCaskill, D-Missouri
