Gavin Jarrett Dow (born September 4, 1985) is a music fan, film fan, and Cubs fan from Chicago. He is currently studying at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois.

Gavin was born and raised in Chicago. He is an avid Cubs fan, and also roots for the Bulls and Bears. New $10 seats at the United Center for Blackhawks home games increase the probability that he will once again count himself as a fan of Chicago's NHL club.
Gavin is a huge U2 fan, and has seen six concerts on their Vertigo Tour: five at Chicago's United Center, and one in Milwaukee, WI at the Bradley Center. He has also seen two other concerts; one in 2001 at the United Center, and one in 2004 at Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park in New York City.
Gavin is a graduate of Walter Payton College Prep, in Chicago. Gavin has previously attended Purdue University and Harold Washington College.
Gavin spends his summer working at YMCA Camp MacLean in Burlington, WI.
Gavin is politically centrist, though he tends towards libertarianism. He is a supporter of a strong foreign policy, and as such often identifies himself with the Republican Party on foreign policy issues. However, many Republicans, particularly those from the religious right frighten him greatly. He is a staunch opponent of corruption, wherever it may pop up. Gavin also takes issue with the spending spree launched by Congressional Republicans and President George W. Bush. He supports the Porkbusters campaign, and applauds recent efforts by Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma to both cut pork, as well as redirect funds to the Gulf Coast rebuilding effort.

- Gavin is an illegitimate descendant of King John of England.
- Gavin won the Division 2A Illinois state pre-calculus championship in 2003 and 2004. He was also a part of the championship-winning two and eight person teams.
- Gavin appeared on the Jerry Springer Show as an audience member in 1992 during a special show aimed at school kids. At one point, he spoke on camera about racism.
