Gash is a Foetus album released in 1995 by Sony/Columbia. Gash is the only Foetus album to appear on a major label and their most widely-distributed, with releases in North America, Europe, and Japan. Gash is Columbia Records #CK 66461.

• Gash is the only Foetus record to include pictures of Thirlwell in its artwork. Alex Winter (of Bill and Ted fame) performed the photography for the artwork, and also directed the music video for "Verklemmt."
• "Take It Outside Godboy" takes its title from dialogue in The Simpsons episode "Sweet Seymour Skinner's Baadasssss Song."
• The "character" in the track 'Steal Your Life Away' seems to be based on the Australian standover-man-turned-author, Mark Brandon Read.
