Garrett John Hedlund (born September 3, 1984) is an American actor known for his role in the movie Four Brothers.
Hedlund has starred in several major films, including the epic Troy (in which he made his film industry debut as Patroclus, younger cousin of Achilles); the drama Friday Night Lights, alongside Billy Bob Thornton, which charts the 1988 football season of the Permian Panthers; Eragon, the adaptation of the novel by Christopher Paolini; Georgia Rule, with legendary screen actresses Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman and Death Sentence, with screen veteran Kevin Bacon. Death Sentence was released in cinemas on August 31, 2007. It is confirmed that Hedlund will play the lead role of a new movie called Hectic in which he plays a DJ who needs to pay back a debt and wants to escape New York City before New Year's Eve, set in the late 1980s.
