Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Autoblock of 195.188.152.14 lifted or expired.

Request handled by: Michael Billington (talk) 11:35, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

I've alerted pgk about this request. The block is a checkuser block, so it may be impossible to unblock you without allowing a problematic user to continue destructive behavior. Pgk will know better what to do. Mangojuicetalk 17:06, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
I wouldn't advise unblocking or even changing to anon only. The history of this address includes numerous checkuser blocks, it was one used by a certain vandal (or vandals) engaged in vandalism, pagemove vandalism, multiple sockpuppets etc. --pgk 17:52, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
I've set it to a 1 year anon only, nocreate. I'll e-mail you my reasoning for this in a moment, pgk. --Michael Billington (talk) 11:35, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Economy of the European Union

I thought about adding a list of NUTS-3 regions mind you, but it would be as equally misleading as the list of NUTS-2 regions, since it basically compares apples and pears again. In London NUTS-3 are very small, enconpassing a few neighbourhoods, whereas elsewhere in Europe NUTS-3 are usually whole cities, and yet elsewhere in Europe NUTS-3 are whole provinces (in Spain, the entire province of Barcelona is a NUTS-3, the entire province of Madrid is also a NUTS-3!). So in the case of London they get NUTS-3 with GDP per capita above 100,000 euros per capita (!!) by taking small chunks of Westminster or the City. It is beyond me how Eurostat can compile such poorly comparable data. So a NUTS-3 list wouldn't do either. I thought it best to put the two cities with the highest GDP per capita in the European Union as a caveat at the beginning of the NUTS-2 list so as not to leave readers with the misleading impression that London is somehow the richest city in the EU. In fact, data show that Frankfurt, Inner London, and Paris are the three richest inner cities in the EU, with very similar GDP per capita. Other cities such as Brussels (53,381 euros per capita), Munich (49,249 euros per capita), Hamburg (41,972 euros per capita) or Vienna (38,632 euros per capita) rank much below. [edit] Rose of England

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have perfomed a web search with the contents of Rose of England, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.btinternet.com/~brentours/ENGT08.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 04:16, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

As a rule, no, it is not permissible to post lyrics on Wikipedia unless they are old enough to be in the public domain (which, as a rule, is before 1923). You might want to read WP:LYRICS which gives guidelines for poetry and lyrics, that may clear up any further questions you have on the topic. — Coren (talk) 04:31, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I vow to thee my country

Thank you for your message. Fair enough if you believe the section about the third verse to be POV, then edit it and make it NPOV. But what you did, simply removing all mention of it, is not how to edit out a POV section. Which is why your edit was reverted. I should point out to you that wikipedia is not censored. See WP:NOTCENSORED. I have edited out the two lines that were written poorly. The third verse though if it is sourced should stay. Also your first edit, which was quite a major edit you gave no edit summary (as per wikipedia guidelines) to explain why you were removing so much content. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 18:55, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
