"Free" is the second solo single by British singer-songwriter/rapper Estelle taken from her debut album The 18th Day. The song features a rap from So Solid Crew's Megaman. It preceded the album's release by two weeks.

In "Free", Estelle raps and sings about living life in a positive way, spreading love, being yourself and working hard to achieve the most you can in life.

Released on October 4, 2004, it peaked at #15 on the UK Singles Chart and was Estelle's second consecutive solo top twenty hit, peaking only one place lower than previous single "1980". The single was less successful than its predecessor in Australia, peaking outside the top 40 at #49. It was the final single release from the album in Australia.
