Frederick Anthony "Fred" Murray (born May 22, 1982 in Clonmel, Ireland) is an Irish footballer, currently playing for Stevenage Borough.
After signing for Northampton Town from Cambridge United, had a long run in the Northampton first team and was seen as a solid left back who could also play at centre half. Unfortunately serious injuries and a virus had kept him out for the previous two seasons. He was released in May 2007 but was invited to still train with the club.
Murray joined Stafford Rangers in August 2007 and made his debut at left full-back in the 2-1 defeat at Oxford United. He then joined Peter Taylor's Stevenage Borough in the January 2008 transfer window.
