Franklin Garrett

Franklin Miller Garrett (September 25, 1906 – March 5, 2000) was the first and only official historian of Atlanta.[1] His massive Atlanta and Environs: A Chronicle of its People and Events remains the best reference for the city's history.

Was a founder of the Atlanta Historical Society, today known as the Atlanta History Center.
