Fourteenth United States Army was a fictitious field army developed as a part of Operation Quicksilver and as a part of the fictitious First U.S. Army Group, being led by George S. Patton, Jr..

^ The 6th & 9th Infantry Divisions already existed.
^ An 11th Division formation (11th Airborne Division) already existed.
^ At the time of Operation Quicksilver, the 17th Airborne Division was an authorized unit that hadn't yet been raised. However, it eventually entered active service and participated in Operation Varsity.
^ The 21st Airborne Division is the "notional" higher headquarters used by the Exercise Control Group at JRTC to control rotational brigades.
^ The 55th Mechanized Infantry Division is the "notional" unit used at Fort Leavenworth for CAS3 students' exercises.
^ The 108th was activated after the war's conclusion in 1946 as the 108th Airborne Division.
