- Fort Hancock, according to Google maps, is located out on Sandy Hook. The article on Middletown, New Jersey includes a map showing that the township includes all of Sandy Hook. So, it looks like it is part of Middletown, at least the larger town if not the town center. If this is not right, please say so again but hopefully could you provide a reference? doncram (talk) 00:48, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

- It may be within the boundary of Middletown Twsp., but it is not administered by the Twsp. It is, as noted in the article, a federal possession and is adminstered by the National Park Service. Shoreranger (talk) 00:37, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
