Talk:Foreign relations of Belarus

[edit] Revamping
I think the page could be revamped. In the history section, I think it should be renamed to Overview. Also, we could have sections on coopration with Russia, US and Belarus relations, US and Polish relations, and then other disputes. We could also expand on the disputes too. [edit] POV pushing
Rydel, please stop restoring various disparaging wording, like "so called" and "nobody recognized".
- It is not "so called", it is called so.
- It is a union of two states and is not anyone's business to recognize it. Clearly, it was intended as creation of a new state form, but no one in his mind is claiming it now. The article describes that many things are not established and even paddled back. So one may speak about a "failed attempt", but not that "no one recognizes it." I recognize that I may be not aware of details, but if you know about any appeal from the Union to international community which was rejected, please write so. mikka (t) 02:24, 7 August 2005 (UTC)
- Personally, I do not know much about this union itself. I do not know if they asked other former Soviet republics to join. All I know is that there is a proposed flag and hymn to this Union. Zscout370 (Sound Off) 02:31, 7 August 2005 (UTC)
- The issue is not about attempts to expand it. mikka (t) 02:57, 7 August 2005 (UTC)
