Fort Bidwell is an unincorporated community in Modoc County, California located near the north end of the Surprise Valley. The community's ZIP Code is 96112 and elevation is about 4,550 feet (1,390 m) above mean sea level (AMSL). The North American Datum of 1927 (NAD27) coordinates for the town are . The airport, (FAA identifier: A28), is about 1-mile (1.6 km) north of the center of the community at . The Fort Bidwell Indian Community is affiliated with the Paiute nation.
