Fordbridge

Fordbridge is a suburb in between Kingshurst and Chelmsley Wood in the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull, which is in the English county of West Midlands, and also part of the West Midlands conurbation. It is about eight miles east of Birmingham City Centre. It constitutes a civil parish and has a town council. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 8,748.
Fordbridge is also near to Marston Green and features a new £32 million Secondary School, called the 'Grace Academy'. The area falls within the borders of North Solihull, which is now subject to a £1.8 billion regeneration project.
Due to the enormous amount of money being invested into Fordbridge and surrounding areas, there is a clear signal that it is quickly becoming an even more affluent area which will undoubtedly enhance the favourable reputation that Fordbridge already demands.
