I was planning to add some reliable sources to this article and remove the {{prod}} tag. However, an anon has already removed the prod tag without explanation. As the article now stands, it indeed does not assert notability, and it especially doesn't measure up to the Wikipedia guidelines for notability of musicians. However, I believe it would pass if it is shown that the article fits the criteria about the 1) notable indie record label 2) multiple non-trivial writeups in reliable source publications, and 3) possibly that the band exemplifies a regional genre or movement. A Google search reveals several lengthy articles in The Register-Guard, Willamette Week, Eugene Weekly and the Mail Tribune, and perhaps the Oregonian. These are the kind of references that will help an article survive Afd. I don't believe the band has gained any national recognition, but that would be most helpful too. I've noticed that when folks remove the {{prod}} tag without significantly addressing the issue raised (in this case, failure to meet the standards of WP:BAND), the prodder's next step is to send the article to Afd. Though not wildly notable, I believe an argument can be made for the band's regional notability, but without actual reliable third-party references in the article, that point is moot, so please work on adding refs to the article if you wish to improve it.
