Florida's Twenty-First Congressional District is a U.S. congressional district in Florida. Currently, the residents of the Twenty-First District are represented by Republican Lincoln Diaz-Balart. George W. Bush received 57% of the vote in this district in 2004. The district has a Cook Partisan Voting Index score of R +6.

On January 21, 2008, former city of Hialeah Mayor Raul L. Martinez announced on the America TeVe show "A Mano Limpia" that he will officially announce his candidacy for Florida's 21st congressional district as a Democrat the following day at 11:00 a.m. at the City of Hialeah City Hall.
As of March 31, 2008, Martinez in 2 months has raised $606,166.00 from individual contributions and $10,500.00 from political action committees and has $592.605.00 cash on hand. Diaz Balart has raised $221,314.00 from political action committees and has $1,451,793.00 cash on hand that he has raised in two years.
As of May 22, 2008, Diaz-Balart has cancelled all debates with Martinez.
