Fisher's Tale is a Christadelphian folk rock band based in the West Midlands, United Kingdom. They have so far released 4 albums:

The members are:
- Abbie Downer: Lead vocals/keys
- Adrian Burr: Lead guitar/violin
- Peter Gaston: Lead keys/guitar/flute
- Darren Cordial: Drums/keys
- Nathanael Stock: Rhythm guitar/backing vocals
- Simeon Kay: Bass guitar/backing vocals
All are Christadelphians and involved in songwriting.
Fisher's Tale explain the reason behind the name on their website:
"We are often asked "Why the name 'Fisher's Tale' ?" The name says what we're about: proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the Word of God, just as the fishermen disciples did in Israel at the time of Jesus' ministry. The reason for the band's name is summed up in the title of the first album: "Why didn't you tell me..." the Fisher's Tale?'"[1]

The band started in early 1990's when a Music and Drama workshop was set up in Ware, to bring together young people's talents in the church. The aim was to have the gospel message expressed in different art forms. A small number, to be Fisher's Tale, decided that a fixed membership 'band' would have a greater opportunity to write and present music with a Gospel message than an ever-changing workshop format. Andy de Witt and Tim Stephens, from the band 'Six of One', were involved early on, and gave the music a strong folk rock influence.[2]
Andrew Delin and Coren Miles (then Tanner), two members of this small group, left in 1996 after the release of the first album. Adrian Burr then joined as lead guitarist, and helped to emphasise the rock style of the fledgeling band's music. In 2000/01 drummer Tim Stephens left the band followed by Richard & Sarah Downton: this left only Adrian Burr and David Fenton, but the band forged on, recruiting Darren Cordial on drums, Abbie Downer sharing lead vocals and Nathanael Stock on rhythm guitar, allowing the group to progress in new directions. In 2001, Fisher's Tale became a six-piece with Peter Gaston on keys.
All members of the band are involved in song writing, and most, at this stage, took a turn at singing lead.
In 2003, Fisher's Tale recorded their third album Boundless. Simeon Kay came into the band as the bass guitarist, and founding member David Fenton retired. [3] The band has continued to develop musically with release of the fourth album Different Horizon.
