I recommend a move to the international standard spelling of the Sicilian-born Italian architect Filippo Juvarra. A redirect will remain here at this Spanish spelling (he did work in Spain after 1735), so that no reader is left behind. Any issues concerning this move? --Wetman 12:09, 4 October 2005 (UTC)

• Hello, I came from portuguese Wikipedia, talk to you that Filippo Juvarra did not made the project to Palacio de Mafra, wich is credited to João Frederico Ludovice, an arquitect from Germany. Please correct it. As I'm not logged here, you can find-me at pt:User:Jo Lorib.Thanks.

"Just two years after work was started at Mafra, John V summoned the Piedmontese architect Filippo Juvarra to Lisbon and asked him to draw up plans for a royal palace and a patriarchal church," writes Jose-Augusto Franca in "The stately heritage of Portuguese Baroque" in UNESCO Courier, September 1987 (On-line text). Juvarra was not the builder on-site, certainly. To whom is the design currently attributed? For J.F.
