The 2007 FIBA Africa Championship for Women was the qualifying tournament for FIBA Africa at the women's basketball tournament at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. The tournament was held in Senegal from September 21 to September 30.

Hamchétou Maïga of Mali was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament. Fellow Malian Diéné Diawara earned the honor of top rebounder. Christina Andrade (Angola) was honored for being top scorer and Carla Dasylva of Mozambique was honored for being the top three point shooter. The all-tournament squad consisted of previously mentioned Maïga, Diawara, Dasylva, Andrade and Aya Traore of Senegal. [1]
